Receiving the Shariah Committee at the headquarters of CAC ISLAMIC BANK

During September 15th and 16th, 2024 we had the honor of receiving the Chariah Committee at the headquarters of CAC ISLAMIC BANK to start the first meeting of the Chariah Committee of Islamic Bank.
During these two days, the committee members approved the contracts and procedures for the implementation of Charia standards products, including the Murabaha, Musharaka and Mudaraba contracts.

Compliance with Charia standards and their implementation were the keywords communicated by the committee members.
The presence of top experts in the field, having combined the Chariah and Legal aspects of Islamic banking for over 25 years, is a significant asset for CAC Islamic Bank.

They stressed the importance of relying on the trust and credibility gained by the CAC Group over the years to ensure the success of Islamic banking. Quality of services, professionalism of teams and respect for the principles of Islamic finance will be the pillars upon which the development of the counter will be built in the coming years, in accordance with the recommendations of the Sharia Committee.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the committee had the honor of being received at the Central Bank of Djibouti by Mr. Hassan Moussa Yacin, Executive Director, accompanied by Mr. Abdourahman Robleh, Statistical Officer and Ms. Hodo Abdillahi, Supervisor of Banking Activity. The meeting provided an opportunity for an enriching exchange between the members of the Banks Charia Committee and representatives of the Central Bank.
